The Gouaro tribe ("Dönêpê Rö Gëa' rhö" in Kanak) is part of the Ajië-Arho customary area, and is one of six tribes currently present in the Bourail region. It is the only one to be located by the sea, since it has access to the Baie de Gouaro, between the Baie des Amoureux and the Plage de Poé. - The Gouaro tribe is located on the road to Poé, between Poé beach and Roche Percée beach. Coming from Nouméa, take the first left turn after the Néra bridge and follow the road towards Poé.
