A Tourist Bus to help you discover Bourail
A new tourist service is being introduced in Bourail, with a shuttle running continuously on a circuit of 6 strategic stops to enhance the tourist experience.
Regular workshops with tourism stakeholders identified this need for mobility, and Sud Tourisme Nouvelle-Calédonie hopes to facilitate the experience of visitors who will not need to have their own vehicle to discover the region’s various points of interest.
The circuit extends from the Domaine de Deva, with a stop at the Tourist Office entrance, one at the Sheraton and one at the Sentier des Origines, to the beaches of Poé and La Roche Percée, as well as the village of Bourail.
The ticket, sold by the driver for 500F, will allow passengers to hop on and off as many times as they like from one of the stops on the circuit, every 30 minutes continuously from 9am to 4pm.
This system is being set up on an experimental basis with a local service provider over the first 2 weekends of June, during the upcoming school vacations.
The Tourist Office will provide visitors with all the information they need, as well as a communication kit in the form of posters and flyers, in collaboration with Bourail’s tourism service providers.
