As part of the Francofolies festival on the 15, 16 and 17 September, Sud Tourisme Nouvelle-Calédonie took charge of welcoming the artists, helping them discover our destination and making their stay in New Caledonia unforgettable.
Artists discover the South Province
Guest artists were able to discover some of the destination’s tourist nuggets, including Île des Pins, Islet Signal, the Aquarium des Lagons and the Phare Amédée lighthouse. They also explored the New Caledonian lagoon on a catamaran, while sampling tasty, local dishes. Sud Tourisme took advantage of these privileged moments to conduct interviews to gather their impressions of our destination during their escapade in the South Province, and the memories they took away with them, albeit a bit rainy.
Music in the spotlight
The attending artists were able to share their talent and passion on the stage of the Bodega and the Conservatoire de Musique, and Caledonians were able to experience exclusive and unforgettable moments, despite the unfavourable conditions. Adapting and promoting our beautiful destination was the challenge of the attractiveness agency, which managed to bring a little sunshine and promote the South Province among the artists and their communities, in New Caledonia and beyond.
