Animations at the tourist office on the Isle of Pines
The new “Sud Tourisme Nouvelle Calédonie” information point opened in Kuto Bay on the Isle of Pines last December, and animations for visitors are planned there starting this Saturday, January 28, every Saturday.
Katia and Marie-Françoise, our native Île des Pins “souvenir makers”, have been welcoming visitors for the past month, eager to plan their stay as well as possible, and to benefit from invaluable advice on discovering local nuggets. The Tourist Office is there to facilitate the experience, to inspire desire and bring a global tourism dynamic to the island.
This is what motivated the setting up of animations at the Tourist Office, every Saturday from 9:30am, to delight tourists and accompany them to make their stay unforgettable.
Throughout the day, a program of free and paying activities will be on offer, allowing visitors to take advantage of excursions around the island, sail on a traditional pirogue in the Bay of Kuto, for example, but also to savor local produce at a mini-market, be told about Kuni legends, or discover the secrets of craft skills such as weaving, sculpture or pirogue building.
Sud Tourisme Nouvelle-Calédonie works in collaboration with the commune’s tourism professionals and at the service of visitors.
