New: tickets for the Aquarium des Lagons are now on sale at Tourist Offices!
This is a first step before marketing other offers and services in the form of Tourist Passes.
Sud Tourisme Nouvelle-Calédonie is committed to facilitating the visitor’s experience: giving them access to the entire tourism offer, advising them on the destination’s strengths and secrets according to their expectations, and enabling them to make the richest and most varied discovery possible!
The attractiveness agency is responsible for the destination’s Tourist Information System. On a day-to-day basis, it works with service providers and tourism operators to ensure that their offers are correctly referenced. This is one of the invaluable roles of the network of Tourist Offices managed by Sud Tourisme Nouvelle-Calédonie, as it enables reliable information to be relayed continuously on all the tourism promotional tools used.
Sud Tourisme Nouvelle-Calédonie also works to support and enable the qualification and development of the tourism offer, as well as the promotion of the destination.
In the Tourist Office, our tourism advisors help visitors, whether locals or not, to create their fondest memories: their expertise enables them to adapt their advice and help visitors discover both must-sees and hidden tourist gems.
To make the experience easier, but also to encourage as many visitors as possible to our tourist facilities, the attractiveness agency wants to respond to demand and enable the purchase of tickets at the start of a stay.
L’Aquarium des Lagons is New Caledonia’s most popular tourist attraction.
Guided tours, feedings, behind-the-scenes experiences with the groomers or participation in̂ release operations for animals in their natural environment: this is one of the must-sees! Visitors come to marvel at the richness of our ecosystems and admire the lagoon’s marine life, its multicoloured fish, turtles, pelagic fish, fluorescent corals, and nautiluses.
Logically, and with the utmost confidence, this partner, with whom we already set up an information point last year, is now the destination’s 1st tourist site whose entrance tickets will be offered by Tourist Offices.
The goal is to be able to offer a complete range of entrance tickets for the South Province’s must-see tourist sites. In the pipeline, the creation of Passes gathering cultural or natural heritage must-sees (museums, parks).
The more PASS holders visit, the more they save compared to purchasing individual tickets. There will be a choice of 2, 4 or 6-day packages for free access to the listed sites.
