Through the gradual taking over of the destination’s tourist offices, Sud Tourisme is pooling its resources and pooling tourist information in the South Province. Centralised management of the offices helps to harmonise advice shared with visitors and provide them with the best possible tourist experience. Continuing these efforts, we have set up a single toll-free number to provide assistance and special attention to visitors throughout their stay.
Warm, friendly reception areas
Everything has been thought out to make visitors feel privileged, listened to, and able to enjoy the best tourist experience. The Tourist Offices of the South Province aim to be the representation of the warm and friendly welcome of New Caledonia today, with landscapes of the island that invite you to escape to the South Province, Wi-Fi that allows you to stay connected and share your trip with your community, and modernised shops showcasing local products.
Must-visit stores
The Tourist Office stores are a source of pride, inviting visitors to travel, and immersing them in a modern, comforting, local atmosphere. They are now very comprehensive, with enriched stalls offering local, quality products. Each Tourist Office has its own unique way of promoting a perfectly localised offering, creating and offering souvenirs of the destination so that everyone can find something to their liking and leave delighted and ready to explore the roads of South Province.
From sun cream and sandalwood essential oils on the Île des Pins to beeswax candles from the Mont-Dore beehives, honey from Moindou, and charcuterie from Bourail, the stores of the Tourist Offices are chock-a-block with local treasures and are a must for local and foreign visitors alike.
