When I say museum, I mean our maritime museum, the city museum and the Tjibaou cultural center, which represent the history of New Caledonia. When we start a trip, we often begin with the museums, because they retrace our journey. They help you understand our beautiful island, our history, our cultures. There are a lot of stories here, and stories are rich, all the more so with what’s happening to us right now, it’s an opportunity to put a spin on our history. You know, I always say that there’s never an end, it’s always a renewal. It’s important that we work on being self-sufficient again, and I think that the Southern Province is the entry point, because we’re rich in so many things.
