New Caledonia’s lagoon, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a treasure trove for locals and tourists looking for activities. Nicknamed the “Jewel of the Pacific”, it boasts no less than 40 km of coastline and just as many spots where the marine biodiversity takes refuge. There’s lots of things to do around this part of the sea: relaxing on sandy beaches, snorkelling in uncharted waters, catamaran trips to spot whales, water sports for a glide through paradise, diving on a coral reef that is home to fish and turtles, or exploring secluded islets in the Pacific Ocean – there’s something for everyone, young and old!
