There’s something for everyone in South Province. Beginners can count on the expert advice of professionals, either by taking lessons or by participating in the workshops organised all year round. Experienced players can practice on demanding courses at various golf courses in South Province In Bourail, for example, the Exclusiv Golf de Deva is considered the equal of the best Australian and New Zealand courses. It boasts vast greens 25 to 30 m wide and majestic fairways among trees and natural obstacles. . At Garden Golf de Dumbéa, hole #17 is 560 meters long, with a small lake and river to cross! In Nouméa, the trade winds blowing over the Golf de Tina can become a real challenge…

Combine sport and relaxation at the golf courses located in the South Province’s high-end hotels! In Bourail, the Exclusiv Golf de Deva is directly attached to the the hôtel Sheraton de Deva. Other golf courses are perfect for families. One such place is the Garden Golf de Dumbéa. Located opposite Parc Fayard, it’s easy to practice your favourite sport while enjoying the company of your mates and family. The park is great for a relaxing picnic after a session on the green. Kids and parents alike can enjoy the attractions of the surrounding Dumbéa river: swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and more. Similarly, the golf de la Ouenghi in Boulouparis lets everyone choose their activity: golf, swimming pool, tennis, river swimming, horseback riding… Something for the whole family!

Hit that little white ball in the heart of the city

Fancy practising alone or with mates, without having to travel far? The Henri Millard racecourse has a driving range right in the heart of Nouméa! Ideal for regular practice and improving your technique. Here, you can work on your swing on the twenty stations available, all within a stone’s throw of the town’s beaches and attractions. After your session, the Chai de l’Hippodrome is a great bar to have a drink in, with delicious tapas. The snack bar on the driving range also offers a refreshing break! Golf de Tina boasts a superb 5,600-metre par 72 course set in 80 hectares of parkland, just 10 minutes from Nouméa town centre.

Take part in the greatest golf competitions

The South Pacific Classic, an event on the Australia PGA Legends Tour is played on the Deva, Tina and Ouenghi golf courses. The competition welcomes 40 professionals and 80 amateurs. It’s an opportunity to mingle with the region’s professionals, in a very friendly atmosphere. The Legends Tour Australia is played out over some sixty tournaments in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and now New Caledonia. It’s a very popular tour, with some of the biggest names in the sport taking part.

Golf courses in the South Province

Exclusiv Golf Deva – Bourail : A golf course that is set in a resort hotel on the edge of a lagoon, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. That’s a combination of fun, sport, relaxation, and activities for the whole family that is hard to beat.

Garden Golf – Dumbéa : Accessible to beginners and advanced players alike. The golf course offers lessons all year round. The nearby Parc Fayard is the perfect place for a family day out in the great outdoors.

Tina’s Golf – Nouméa : A stone’s throw from the Centre Culturel Tjibaou, just outside Nouméa, 5,600 metres of land and a varied course await you. Mountain scenery, sea views, proximity to the mangrove forest. The setting is matched only by the quality of the green. A twelve-station covered driving range, complete with a training bunker and two putting greens, enables practice in all weathers. High-level competitions, golf school, and lessons cater for advanced players and beginners alike.

Ouenghi Golf – Boulouparis : 1 hour from Nouméa, nestled in the Paillotes de la Ouenghi hotel, the golf course offers a relaxing day or a complete stay: bungalows, restaurant, pool, tennis courts, river, walks. Perfect for combining family relaxation with your favourite sport!
