Run monthly by the Tourist Office, these tours plunge you into the industrial history of the region and its mining activity since 1874. The commune also boasts a number of weekly markets, including the Marché de Saint Philippe, the Marché de l’îlot Saint-Benoît, the Marché de Thio Mission, and the Marché de Wénéné. Thio also takes part in Heritage Month by opening the doors of the mine museum.
