Events in Isle of Pines

If the Isle of Pines is known for its white sandy beaches and turquoise waters, major Caledonian events also take place on this piece of land.

A must-visit for epicureans, the Vao market is held every morning. In a charming hall with a red roof, the Kunié producers offer locals and tourists the fruits of their harvest. On the menu: colourful and tasty seasonal treasures.

In April, the Kunié Sailing Week brings together sailing enthusiasts. Although the start of this nautical race is from Nouméa, it is in Kuno Bay, at the finish line, that most of the festivities take place.

Athletes, don’t miss the Isle of Pines Raid. Every year in October, hundreds of runners meet in front of the beautiful Vao church to gradually venture inland. On the agenda: an incredible view of the bay from Mount N’Ga and an idyllic finish on the sands of Kanumera Beach.
