Integral nature reserves
Some islets are off-limits to the public all year round to prevent any harm to the environment and species, such as fishing, logging, works, fires…
Seasonal integral nature reserves
These are off-limits during the breeding periods of seabirds, such as roseate terns. This is the case, for example, of the Gull Islet, where access is forbidden from October 1 to March 31 on the emerged parts and on a 200-meter strip around the reefs. In case of doubt, look out for the red flags: if they are hoisted on the islet, it is forbidden to disembark.
