Head to Bourail on Saturday 28 October from 9am to 5pm at the Téné fairground for the Fête du Terroir.
A tasty day to dive into bush culture.
Sud Tourisme Nouvelle-Calédonie invites you to discover the expertise of local craftsmen and producers. They will welcome you to their stands to offer you the best of the region’s riches, from its crafts to its gastronomy. Come and taste the region’s famous charcuterie, honey, jams, and other gourmet specialities!
At lunchtime, you’ll be able to share a Broussard meal at a large friendly table, and treat yourself to numerous specialities from the region, as well as home-made ice creams – a real feast!
Various events are scheduled throughout the day to appeal to all audiences.
Country dancing takes center stage with demonstrations and initiations! But you can also discover circus arts, animals on the mini-farm, horseback riding or let your kids have fun in the bouncy castle.
The day’s schedule:
9 a.m.: Open to the public
2pm – 4pm: Horse rides
9:30 a.m.: Circus demonstration
10:30 a.m.: Demonstration and introduction to country dancing
11 a.m.: Start of the big Broussard meal
2pm – 4pm: Horse rides

3:30 p.m.: Circus demonstration
5 p.m.: Close of the event
All day long: mini-farm, bouncy castle, face painting, and stalls selling local produce.
