Fiji Airways will shortly be inaugurating a new route between Nadi International Airport in Fiji and Nouméa-La Tontouta International Airport in New Caledonia.
The inaugural flight of the new Nadi-Nouméa route is scheduled for 30 November. From 7 December, scheduled flights will be offered twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays.
Andre Viljoen, Managing Director and CEO of Fiji Airways, expressed his enthusiasm for the new route. According to Fiji Airways, Nadi airport is an ideal hub for travellers from New Caledonia, offering a wide network of connections to North America (San Francisco, Los Angeles or Honolulu), Asia and other Pacific island destinations. What’s more, thanks to codeshare partnerships, the airline can connect Caledonian passengers to over a hundred destinations worldwide.
Sud Tourisme was delighted to meet Fiji Airways representatives during their visit to Nouméa to discuss how to promote the destination to this new clientele.
