The first weekend of October saw the 13th edition of the Foire du Pacifique, three days of festivities in Nouméa to introduce visitors to Pacific artisanal craftsmanship. With nearly 25,000 attendees this year and 250 exhibitors, it’s one of the region’s key events, and one in which Sud Tourisme is delighted to play its part in raising the destination’s profile.
To facilitate access to this showcase for tourism professionals, Sud Tourisme is offering financial support to 16 exhibitors, who will benefit from a 20,000F reduction on the total cost of their stand.
Located at the entrance to the Foire du Pacifique, Franck and Jérémy, Nouméa tourism advisors, were delighted to welcome the many visitors and advise them on the destination. They took advantage of the event to present the Aquarium des Lagons’ new offer, Turtle Watching, a workshop for observing the egg-laying of loggerhead turtles in their natural habitat on Bourail beaches.
